Default g56 and a 48 auto swap

Ok here's the deal I want to swap my g56 for a 48 auto got a couple little snags one the auto has a electric tranfer case and the manual has a manual transfer case one is a 6.7 and the other is a 5.9 and need a way to control the tranny (I think suncoast makes one) any suggestions? also want to keep both trucks working the other one is another member if this site.

may i ask but why swaping to auto i had several built full billit autos in my 04 48re's and none lasted not even suncoasts full billit, i swaped to a g56 with a dual disc i gained mpgs lowered egts and dont have any slipping when i step on it just dont know why the down grade to the auto. and if its for speed with racing my g56 is just as fast as the autos just got to know how to shift fast

i don't care how fast you are in shifting, cant beat the speed of an auto when shifting.

not at all am i saying the speed of the shift what im saying is in a race if you know how to drive, sticks can be as fast or faster than autos. my 5speed stang was faster than a lot of autos in the 1/4. im just warning about the lack of strength in the auto trans when you push them hard you will find out ,i did after several 8 grand trans i am done. i just try to warn people of my past problems, and why do we care about a few 10ths of shift time, just make more power to accle faster when in gear just my two cents

we also have to compare apples to apples. The t56 that was in your stang is a corvette compared to a g56 or nv5600 that is in these trucks. The shifter length on your stang is 25% the length of these trucks, it stands to reason that one can shift a car tranny faster than a truck tranny.
