Default cooler delete wastegate

any thoughts on this , using the rear delete plate as a mount for an external wastegate, i dont feel the desire to pop a headgasket due to excessive drive pressures. i currently have the setup to dump at 35 psi boost pressure, my drive pressures are at a 1:1 ratio now, formerly at a 1:2 ratio. truck runs extremely smooth, dosnt feel like its fighting to breath, whats everyones thought on this setup

Go look up Ronnie (RJP) on Cummins Forum. He is running an external wastegate setup similar to what you are talking about. He'll be able to get you pointed in the right direction.

Here's a link to pics of his setup.
