Default Throttle position light

I have had my 6.7 for a while now and it's been trouble free for a long time. Except for the other night the redlight on the dash came up and now my truck shutters or kinds jerks a little every few seconds when I drive it. What is the cause of this and what do I do to fix it

First thing I would try is unhook the Edge.

I drove an 07 for 2 years and i noticed one day i went to start it and the throttle position light came on . the batterys had plenty of volts but low amps. the truck would surge real bad. replaced batterys and every things all good. come to find out driver side battery sends juice to every thing. had an 08 that did same thing, replaced batterys, fixed prob. for some reason the batterys on both trucks didnt last to 80000 miles.

Took my rig in today for the same problem. The light comes on for a day or two then goes out. The truck jerks sometimes violently. So went to the dealer, under warranty still, after and hour of screwing around turns out it is a stuck brake light switch. Sending confusing signals to the computer. So we will see. Truck is bone stock, 08 6.7l with 30k on it. Anyone ever hear of this before? I know the brake lights were working fine, and I have been parking it in the shop to plug it in, so I would think I would have noticed if the brake lights were stuck on.......weird!

I have a 2007.5 6.7L Cummins that has been idling rough and shutting off. I have been getting the Throttle position light and the CEL. I have had many codes. This happened for about 1 day then cleared up. Two weeks later it happened again. It took about 2 day for it to clear the Throttle position light. I am now just getting a P0405. When I drive it now it bucks not often but it bucks. Anyone else have this problem?

Mine still bucks on occasion. We were driving back from Billings the first time all this started. The throttle light came on then the cel. I pulled over, ran the codes on my reader, which I carry everywhere, and it pulled that same code as above, but said it was the baro pressure sensor. I cleared the codes and it hasn't happend since so I don't know. Next time the CEL or any other warning indicaters come on though, I'm taking it right to dodge since it's still under warranty.
