I wish I had managed to flip him or get him far enough sideways I could have T-boned his door. Normally I have my pistol with me, which would have ended this whole mess in short order. From now on it will be with me where ever I go. I'm not one to go looking for a fight per se, but if provoked, I can more than hold my own.
So far, all I can see that's damaged is the front bumper and the painted fascia panel on top of it.. License plate is messed up as is the holder. A/C condensor is going to need replaced...bumper pushed it back and bent it, but didn't puncture it. Missed the intercooler by less than half an inch.. I drove it after I got back home and the adrenaline wore off a bit, and it feels like the front end is going to need re-aligned. I had my wheels turned a bit to the right when he rammed me the first time. Good thing is, it's driveable, since my Jeep isn't right now.
I'll go outside here in a few and take some pics to post up. One thing I will say though...don't let anybody tell you that a truck that big doesn't handle well in that situation. I may run down to the police station later and see if I can get a copy of the police report. That should be interesting...

Nice looking dogs, inside and out. Haven't seen that combo before...did you keep the whole litter? Sounds like you got lucky coming home when you did, or maybe he got lucky getting caught before entering your house... either way, glad your house, truck and you and dogs are all ok..... Yeah dogs can be great deterrents for robbers.... I would just love to see the look on a sob's face that tries and comes in our house or yard.....

you are just like marcus luttrel the navy seal. he chased down the guys who killed his therapy dog he got after he came back from afganistan. he was doing 110 MPH and finally caught them 4 counties later. but that guy is an idiot for driving past the police station. i hope you get a new bumper

 

rough is racing and any one who races a cummins will get roughed up. glad to hear you are ok and the police werent a bunch of jerks.
