6.7 Help !!
Just registered on the site---- My Brother-in-Law just bought a 2007 Dodge Quad-Cab and knowing nothing about a Dodge, I thought I'd ask the Forum for help. He's interested in a tuner and a Air-Box if needed. He does not want to delete PFE. Will be towing and a little to play around with. Thanks !!!

The Smarty S-67 will be coming out shorty for the 6.7. I'd take a serious look into that programmer. It has 10 power levels, DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) reader with on-screen plain text interpretation of the codes, ABS programming for tire height adjustment, upgrades through built in USB connector for updated programs found on the site, automatic recovery of the ECM in case of an interrupted update. I've been running the Smarty for over 1 1/2 now and I love it! Plus if he's worried about the warranty which I'm guessing he is since he's not removing the DPF, the other versions of the Smarty are undetectable by the dealer and I'm sure this version is no different. But above all get gauges first!

Just like Jake said.
GAUGES FIRST!!!!
Smarty will be the way to go. All other tuners/programmers are detectable by the dealer. I was a service manager at a dodge shop (before we closed the doors a couple weeks ago) and have smarty on my truck. one of my good friends (cummins tech user name here) searched his **** off for the smarty and could find NOTHING that would alert him to think there was anything on the truck.
