Any one ever heard of a truck going into limp mode as soon as it gets to running temp?? It'll also sometimes shut it self down any ideas on what could be causing this??

 

Well it depends, alot determines what derates an engine these days, do you have a check engine light come one when it goes into limp mode? If you derate when you hit operating temperature you may either have a DPF issue or egr, coolant issue.

 

Well I have the egr and dpf deletes with efi live so it could possibly be a coolant issue somewhere?

 

best way to find out whats up is get a scanner on it
