Default Need some towing advice

I have a 2008 ram 2500 6.7 Laramie 4x4 with 92k miles. Edge attitude programmer and airlift 5000 bags on the rear. I pull a 20 foot enclosed 5 days a week easy. I just bought a 40 foot 5th wheel weighing 14k dry. Very early the tyranny jumped to 250 degrees and I feel I have very little power. The tranny reached 265 and this is in Colorado at night, 40 degrees....am I doing something wrong or are the edge settings off? I know I need more upgrades what would everyone recommend.

how fast are you towing?
Are you using the Edge pulling the large trailer? if so what power level?

I tow 10k-18k reguarly,, 5th wheel, gooseneck
have o7.5 3500 with deletes intake exhaust EFI
Advise get larger pan for transmission and get a programmed TCM ,, I got mine from Matt out of Amarillo Dragonian
I never see over 180 trans temp EGT stay below 14 .. towing 16k across CO, WY,UT in cross wind.
Change fluid in tranny every 30K

The best change has been the programmed TCM
Looking at a new torque converter ,, not that mine has a problem just because I tow over 10K
Trying to prevent problems before thay happen..

Check the lines to your trans cooler make sure one is not squashed or damaged. If you don't have one definitely install one!!!!!!!!!. I would also get a complete trans service done It also wouldn't hurt to turn the power down . I pull around 18,000 lb with a tandem tandem goose neck and mine never gets even close to your temps normally around 180.

Fully deleted 3500 with 4" turbo back and a smarty tuner set on 1 or economy mode.
