Default Jerking from an engine miss

I bought this truck not long ago and it's developed a miss. It's noticeable at idle but nothing real bad. On the expressway it is much more noticeable the truck will jerk bad like I have a cylinder down. It only does it for a split second but happens all the time. It gets worse and worse when I start climbing up on a hill. EGTs stay in check but the previous owner put the probe in the collector on the down pipe, exhaust side of turbo. I'll be moving it to the manifold tomorrow if I have time.
Today I'm going to pull the vc and see if an injector harness plug has backed off. If that's not the issue I don't know where else to turn other then an injector itself. Any ideas? Thanks.
The truck has 142k miles on it.

MUDRUNNER408's Truck Pics

I'm not good at electrical by any means but I checked the two plugs that go into the valve cover and this is what I found
Rear of engine
6-5.38 ohms
5-6.46 ohms
4-6.40 ohms
3-5.86 ohms
2-6.56 ohms
1-3.75 ohms
Front of engine

To me this seems like a big variance and I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Any help would be appreciated.

175 views and not even as much as a guess.

I cleaned the maf sensor and that made no difference. I cleaned it because I spotted it drop to 0 while I was driving and the truck missed. Any thoughts?

is the truck throwing a code? or check engine light? I am thinking a bad injector.
I hope the pro's chime in!

I relocated the egt probe so now I believe the gauge a lot more. I'm seeing 1200 max vs 800....

There's no rhyme or reason to it, it just misses whenever.
Any ideas as to why the MAF sensor would drop off like I've mentioned?
With my windows down I can hear a poping out the exhaust. Almost like detonation on a gasser. Any ideas?
I also have 2 codes. A 2228 for egr and a 0488 neither of which point me in any direction.

Yeah I hope they do too until then... I'll wait and trouble shoot myself.
