Does anyone have a '14 with Uconnect that they can start their truck with their phone? I have heard rumor this is possible. When I went to get the App on my phone, I am informed this app isn't available in you country, Canada. I'm going in to the dealership today to talk about it.

 

on my 2014 Longhorn Laramie I have it and yes I can start and shut down the truck via the phone. It is nice when you are out of range of the key fob and want to cool down or heat up the truck before you get in.

 

Is this a 2014 only option?

 

I am not sure. I guess you would have to ask the dealer.

 

I believe it is a 13/14 option, but not in Canada. Boo!

Ya, it's UConnect app. I have Drone Mobile in my old truck. There seems to be A LOT of features with the higher end screen that doesn't work. Not worth the money, that's for sure.
