It didn't manually shift before message ether , is there a fuse? Bad rocker switch? Tried in/out of tow setting. Any help, clues, or ''had same problem'' appreciated . Thanks

I don't quite understand your question, are you saying it won't go in and out of tow mode? Is it a 68RFE? If so there is no manual gear change available its PNRD...Or are you talking about the 2w 4w 4wlow selectors...

The toggle switch on the face of the gear lever ''should'' give you 6 thru 1 gear, click down, down shift, click up, up shift. Tow works, and is the button on the very end. Shifter switch is closer to steering wheel and faces you, Its neat when it works, just like formula one paddle shift, but totally different

It doesn't manually shift the transmission. It sets the MAX gear that the tranny will go into. It will still shift down as needed...it just won't go higher than you select.

So the rocker switch was bad? I'm having the same problem.
