New '13 2500 6.7 Questions
I have decided to downsize a bit by replacing my '05 3500 Big Horn 5.9 4x4 dually with a new '13 2500 Big Horn with the 6.7L. Nice truck, overall. I'm wondering about mods...
On my '05 I replaced the muffler with a high-flow unit, but that was it. Nice sound improvement, and I routinely get 22-23 mpg, even on winter fuel. I've read stuff on the later model Rams with multiple cats, DPF, EGR, and of course the new '13 requires exhaust fluid. Many recommendations I've read suggest a muffler delete, and this seems like an easy first step.
I don't want to void the warranty, and don't really want to do much at this point beyond intake and exhaust improvements. A little bump in power and mileage (and sound) would be what I'm after. However, would like some advice...
Any suggestions? Any preferred parts sources?
I pick the new truck up tomorrow. Anything I need to ask before I drive off the dealership lot?

Right now there is little out there for modifying the exhaust system for the2013 due to the government cracking down on the companies making the delete kits.
as for the egr deletes, not a lot out there that will work with the computer on the truck.Plus you now have def which is also added into the exhaust system.
You may be able to put in a drop in high flow air filter and still keep your warrenty.
But if you remove they exhaust system or the egr, that most likely void your warrenty.
