Default 6.7 Cummins he351ve vgt warped and leaking oil

I have a 07.5 6.7 Cummins he351ve vgt with 41k miles. I took it in for a oil change and to fix a oil leak at the turbo. I was informed that the leak was not one of the lines but that the turbo was warped and leaked under boost. it has been one year since i installed this turbo. It was a reman from dodge. I also did a egr delete, 5" exhaust straight piped, AFE cold air, and a H&S mini max at the same time to the truck. I also did a ccv bypass. I do not race it, do boosted launches, or pull heavy loads other than a flatbed and hunting camper. the turbo only had a six month warranty.

Has any one else had this problem? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Haha. I did all the mods to get rid of the emissions crap! the last turbo got taken out because the egr cooler was plugged up. The previous owner (brother) used it as a family wagon. I am happy with the performance, mpg, and the exhaust brake especially living in the rocky's! Is there a performance turbo that can do all that for me? I would think the reman would have lasted more then 13 months and 5500 miles!

ya it should have had a way longer life then 5500 miles. unless it got extremely hot!

you may look into an he451ve there are some guys running them and seem to have good luck with them.
