Default 03-06 OR 07+?

My super well taken care of 04.5 got creamed last week on the freeway and I'll be getting another 2500 4x4 quadcab shortly.

I have heard that the 6.7L (07+) has lots of problems and I have been debating on a 05/06 with the 5.9L with possibly a mega cab OR do the 07+ with the 6.7L

I do live in ****-fornia so there will be **** cavity checks every 2 years

Thanks for your $.02

I went form a 98.5 5.9 to a 08 with a 6.7. The 6.7 is a great engine, yeah the egr and dpf can be a little annoying but its a great engine. the 5.9 wont have any dpf filter stuff to worry about. however they come with a 4 sp auto compared to the 6.7, they come with a a 6 sp auto and a factory exhaust brake. i guess its up to you. your not going to go wrong either way.
