I have a 2008 automatic and have a question on cold weather torque converter lock up. During warm weather the converter locks up what I call normally but when cooler it takes several miles for the lock up to occur. The colder the temp. the farther I have to drive before it locks up. Is this condition normal and will the transmission download from H&S address the issue?

 

I don't think it will lock till your trans temp gets over 55 degrees, and engine temp over 120
