well i pulled the tcase im grinding into the crack and just going to weld it and run it till it explodes. i checked the front drive line. it is tight no slop joints are tight. but the front yoke has some side to side and up and down play?? it dont seem normal to me any input would be nice thanks

do you mean at the splined slip part? there shouldnt be much play at all since the shaft spins all the time on those trucks. if it dosnt seem normal then i'd guess its probably more then it needs to have.

Im talkin about the yoke on the front axle. Where the driveline mounts to the front axle. Sorry i should have worded that better.

oh so you mean the actual front axle pinion yoke as in not part of the drive shaft??

it shouldnt move more then a few thou of an inch as in very very little. if its moving more then that i'd be checking the pinion bearings.
