I am doing the deletes on my truck, and as you know from all the generations each produce a good sound with my personal feelings being the 24 valve with the diamond eye muffler. Now I own a 2012 and completely deleteing all the stock exhaust, I don't want a really nasty drone in the interior definately louder than stock! Are there any opinions for good sound?

 

5" straight pipe. The 6.7 don't drone no where near as bad as the 5.9cr motored did

 

i have 5' inch straight pipe i don't think it drones at all.

 

New to the whole forum thing, but when you say deletes, are you removing your entire factory exhaust? I want to do the same thing (now that I have over a 100K), but have no idea.

Ok I will look into the straight pipe is there any issues with less back pressure besides longer to warm up? Oh and the truck is a crew cab long bed...

 

It won't have any effect on warm up or back pressure issue.
