Can someone tell me what my axels are rated for?
If I am pulling a 40 foot flatbed weighing 6600LBS can I legally pull a 18k tractor?
My trailer has disc brakes and a 25990 GVW.

 

Here in colorado no.. But doesnt stop me, but Im not sure what the axel rating is.

 

The axle ratings are listed with the GRVW tag that is usually on the door post. Towing weights vary from state to state. Check their web site.

 

if you have good brakes you can do but if the fuzz stop you you in trouble. if you can claim ag exempt maybee legal. is your truck flat bed or regular bed. if you have regular bed dont stop at scales. and some states will let you haul if you buy door sticker that match your gvw,register truck for same and have a class 1 and your legal!
