Default Can i use regular diesel on 2010 dodge ram cummins?

Hello,

Can some one help me with this?

I'm from kuwait and i'm planning to order 2010 dodge ram 2500 Cummins from the united states. And i'm facing one problem which is we don't have Ultra low sulfur diesel here in kuwait.

So, is it possible to use regular diesel or low sulfur diesel Instead of ultra low sulfur diesel on this truck?

If no, what is your recomendations for me?

Thanks.

The main problem with running LSD in a truck requiring ULSD is the emissions equipment. If you get the truck you will likely be fine with deleting the DPF and the EGR. I'm not an expert on these newer trucks, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.

dont the 6.7's have variable geometry turbos? I know that kind of turbo hates everything but ultra low sulfur diesel.

Regular diesel will create to much soot and plug your dpf and cat and egr components. I would do the delete on the cat dpf and egr then you shouldn't have a problem.

Yep, egr and dpf delete and go with a holset hx 35 turbo. The turbos in the 6.7 hate reg diesel.

HX35

Go with a 62 mm turbo not an HX35.

It's a bigger turbo than whats already in it. hx35 or hx40 I only said that, unless you can afford a Aurora 3000 or a 5000

An HX35 is a 54/58/12 why would you want to put a smaller turbo on then factory? An HX40 is around a 60/65/16(different sizes too). An HX40 is a better option than an HX35 for sure.
