2008 Ford Super Duty ECU Upgrade - 6.4L Power Up!
Every '08 Super Duty 6.4L comes from the factory with 350 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, but only about 260 ponies and 490 lb-ft of twist make it to the ground. The F-250 we're building for Airaid is no ordinary Super Duty and needed a lot more power to help motivate 38-inch tires and offset the added weight of a lift kit, bumpers, a bedliner, and wheels. We chose the new SCT Livewire with the Extreme 6.4L Race Package because it provides up to 120 hp and 230 lb-ft of torque more than the stock programming, has an integrated EGT monitoring system, and can be loaded with custom SCT programs in just a few minutes with a home computer or laptop. Here's how we loaded our Livewire with the latest Ford ECU program and the 6.4L Extreme tune in less than 30 minutes after taking it out of the box.
Super-Expandable Memory
One of the SCT Livewire's unique features is the use of a built-in SD flash memory card that can easily expand the memory from a more-than-sufficient 128 MB up to 2 GB or more. Don't pop open your Livewire at home, or the warranty will be void.
