Default emty dpf?

Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I just biught a new 2010 F250 lariat with a 6.4 diesel and I've been reading about the great advantages of a new tune with a dpf deleat. I was wondering if taking a stock dpf and hollowing it out would work and it would avoid the situation of the dealer instantly spotting the removal of the dpf when in for oil changes and such. Where can a used dpf be purchased? I've looked on the internet and I can't even find a new one at any price!

Only place you can get a new DPF is at the dealer. I'm not positive, but they run around $2000.

Basic part number from the Ford Store for a DPF is 5H221.

I can probably find you a hollow one.
