Default DPF Safe tuner.
Well, I finally convinced my dad into buying a chip, but he still wants to keep the DPF, What is the safest, or safeish safe chip for the 6.4 DPF.. So far I have been thinkin banks.
Any input would be appreciated

banks is the only one that claims not to clog the DPF, any of them will work with the DPF but it will be in Regen mode alot because of the increased soot

As far as I know, the only tuner that you can use with the DPF is BANKS, but it will only give you 100 HP & 220 TQ, BUT you can call hypertech 114 HP & 188 TQ.

SCT would be your best choice IMHO... There the only thing I would run on a Ford with a 5r110 tranny.

If he ditchs the DPF then post up again...

Yes you can... same as the hypertech, Banks, Spartin... they all have tunes that are DPF safe.
