i got a 98 3500 chevy 6.5 4x4 auto,i want to put a 5 spd in it, i already have the 5 spd trans that i got from my buddys wrecked 6.5, but he scraped the rest of it, heres my question will the auto transfer case work on the 5 spd? also who makes a good aftermarket clutch for the 6.5 thanx!!!

 

Just have to make sure the spline count is the same and my bet is they are not, but you can swap inputs on the tcase pretty easily and any clutch from any aftermarket source usually has a HD option. That will be plenty for what the truck will be putting out.
