If I am to test for a power hook up spot for the lift pump, what should the reading be?

Pop the cap off the relay. There should be a coil and a metal piece. Push it against the coil and that's how a relay works.

Or

Use a test light and pull the relay. Check which one is constant and which one is ign on.
Just use a wire and cross it. Iirc is the bottom right and top left I jumped. Hope this helps

I checked the fuel relay for power in the connectors & only had only constant power, no switched power from the ign. so I put a piggy back on the fuse box where it was switched power. I will buy a new fuel cap & test drive truck soon.
