Default 6.5td five speed swap

I just bought a five speed new venture trans(i think a nv3500) and am wondering if that trans will be able to handle the 6.5 or if i just wasted my money on a trans that my engine will shred real quick. Also if i will need to switch to a nv4500 then are the two transmissions the same overall size and same output shaft. im not sure that my trans is a nv3500 it might be a nv3550 but i dont know how to tell them apart, but i know i dont have a nv4500.

The nv 3500 is a halfton tranny even though people have put 350s in front of them with no problems so I'd say a 6.5 would be plenty for it as long as you don't be to hard on it and drop the clutch and stuff the nv4500 is what you need
