Default Twin Turbo set up?

So I was on EBay today and I saw a 6.5 with a Twin turbo set up, so Im looking for a kit for this but see nothing.... how did he do that? And how much power are we talking with a crazt set up like that?

It had a Turbo on both manifolds.

not as much as you think. each of those turbos are only making 8 psi. the reprogrammed ecm i will be reciving in a few days i have boost set at 15 psi on the stock turbo. that engine with the same tune would probably make a little bit more power since its two turbos doing the work of one but not a whole lot more. depending on tune and truck probably be putting down 220-230 wrhp. ultimate turbo on my 6.5 would be a holset he351 vgt turbo with standalone controller. best of both worlds there.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Just took another good look at set did he really use PVC for the piping.......? And then spray paint it shiny silver to look fancy......?

Those turbos are definitely chinese/taiwanese knockoffs...look at the font on the data plate.

playing safe around 15 psi on stock compression. anything higher than that and your playing with fire. guys running lowered compression usually run anywhere from 25-28. as far as the turbo. anything bigger than a hx-35 or A team turbo would be stupid since we cant flow a ton of fuel and cant take much boost.

actually compression has a lot to do with boost numbers and strenth of the engine. i think you misread my post but i do know that boost pressure is not linear to compression. 15 psi is the max strain the 6.5 engine can relaibly take if it is running stock compression.

Not really. I run 18psi boost on 21.1 compression and I have seen several running 25-30psi on the same.

Its the strength of the engine, not the compression ratio.
