Default 6.5 looking for more jam !!

hey everyone, new to the boards here ive been browsing for awhile now just decided to make an account!

im looking to get a bit more power out of my old 6.5td so far i have done what you can see there in my siggy...

what do you guys think about putting the hx35 on ? ive read abit about that, my buddy has a parts dodge at his farm with a cummins and i think it has the hx35 on it, not too sure i have to double check!!

besides that ill be mocking up a fmic cooler soon to keep things a little cooler and i have the upper intake mani to swap to the vin just havent done the swap yet !

iv read a few posts involving puting an hx35 on the 6.5L turbo and i have seen the same thing over and over. people dissapointed in the results. i would recommend going with the hx40. as for the FMIC, it would be nice if you could post some pictures on how you do yours as i will most likely be doing one soon. iv doe alot of research on supporting mods for turbos and despite the slight increase in turbo lag, i have heard amazing things about what an FMIC can do with a turbo, especially on a diesel. i would recommend turning up your boost a few psi after putting on the FMIC.

You can also look at A team turbo to wake up your 6.5. The benefits of this turbo is lowered back pressure and lower egt than gm turbos. I get 21mpg combined on a empty truck, about 2.5mpg gain.
