BIG PROBLEM PLEASE HELP
Well I got the insight CTS installed tonight and took the truck for a drive. I noticed a huge issue. Just driving like normal my EOT was anywhere from 9 to 26 degrees higher than my ECT. I understand that anything over a 15 degree difference is very bad correct?
I am looking now to have the truck worked on to fix this issue and preventive further problems. I am looking at doing coolant filtration kit, oil cooler, egr delete, ford factory head gaskets, arp studs and all the other gaskets I need. Is $1550 dollars shipped to my door a good price for all that stuff. I have a shop that is reputable in the area for doing head studs on the 6.0 but I have not got a labor quote yet. also is there any other parts I am going to need to have this work done correctly and is there anything else you guys would recommend having done while its already apart?
Oh ya I am going to have the heads checked and machined too so I dont have to pay for this again later.

I'm waiting on my shop to email me back to see what we can work out cuz I only have about 2k saved up right now but I really wanna get it in and fixed befor I blow a head gasket. I think he is gonna do labor and all the parts I mentioned and have the heads checked and machined for arounds $3500. Thats a good deal right? He does about 5 6.0 heads a month around here and has a great reputation for them. He pulls the motor instead of pulling the cab.

I asked him that and he said he used to pull the cab but then he started doing it by pulling the motor instead because he can do it quicker and easier that way. IDK i guess its all in personal preferance. I know some people do studs without pulling the cab or engine which seams like way to much trouble to me. I trust him though cuz like I said he has the best reputation around here for doind head jobs on the 6.0. I was gonna have my uncle do it because he is the head mechanic at the local ford dealer and has a frame and chassis lift in his personal shop at home but he has never done anything on the 6.0 besides factory parts so he was not to interested in doing the coolant filtration system, and egr delete.
