Default Spinn but no Start

06 F350 6.0 powerstroke , drove it home from town ran great, shut it off 3-4 hours later went to start it and all it will do is spinn, will not start. Checked fuses and relays, checked for any codes (none found), checked fuel pump(good), have fuel pressure, any ideas it seems my fuel inj's are shut down...

Test the FICM. What is your fuel pressure exactly, or are you just guessing that is has fuel pressure?

No smoke coming out of the exhaust at all? If there is any, what color... no smoke means your injectors are not firing, FICM is easy to test and repair.

Follow that link, you'll need an extra set of hands to turn the key and such, so get a buddy and a couple beers. Shouldn't take too long.

Beings the conditions youve described, i would suggest FICM and the possibility of ICP issues either a leak or biased sensor maybe even the IPR itself screen being damaged, or plugged, internal mechanical faults etc.

I agree, my FICM went out a week ago. On youtube there is a video that shows step by step how to test it, just type in ficm test. also be sure to get an upgraded FICM or it will happen again, you can send ur's away and have it fixed and upgraded for $325 thats better than $700+ at ford for a non-upgraded version

You can get a half shell from Ford for about $400. You can get it done cheaper than $325. I do them myself, it's really not hard at all. A little time consuming though.
