I got the autometer carbon fiber series. They did come with a bunch of adapters as well. Looks like one is big enough to go in the block that came with the water temp gauge. The only thing that sucks about putting it in the block is draining the coolant system to put it in.

It's not that hard. Crawl under the front of the truck, there is a valve built into the bottom of the radiator, just turn that and let it drain into a clean 5 gal bucket. Put your gauge in, and refill the coolant.

Yea that is true. This might be a dumb question, but wouldn't the coolant in the block where that port is be still there if you just drain the radiator?

Yep It willl each side holds about 1gallon after the raidator is drained. But not that bad just use a clean bucket to catch it and when you dump it back in u can use a coffe filter to filter out anything.

Do you have a coolant filter on the truck?

No not yet. Do have plans on getting the one from Sinister Mfg. Little low on dough after buying the gauges.

Does anyone know what adapter I need for the service port plug on the fuel filter bowl, so I can install the autometer fuel pressure sender there. Of course it did not come with the right adapter

Ok, just did some searching and got it. M12.5x1.5 Part #: R7962 You can get it numerous places. Dieselmanor has it here: DieselManor - Accessories

You can also try this sending unit line, little more money, but supposed to keep the sending unit away from the heat and vibration... http://shop.strictlydiesel.com/store...60L_FP_Adapter

and of course you can always get the billet caps for the fuel filter that have a tapped hole in the top too.

Ok. So that is definitely the right adapter then. I did purchase a 36in. fuel pressure hose(DM-FPH36) from Diesel Manor, but none of the adapters would fit.
