Not sure my dad sold hummers for a few years untill they quit making them and the H2 comes with 315x70x17 bfg at's and he said the he would take H2 in on trade with over 80k on the factory tires all the time that is why i got a set for my truck plus i got a gread deal on a set of factory pull offs with 8 miles on them when i got them. And i really do not take that great care of them rotate them every 10k and have nitrogent off road and pull large trailers consistenley so not sure why you have not had any luck with them.

A 1 ton diesel truck has a little more weight over the front end vs. a hummer. Heavier trucks wear tires out faster. It's not just me, I have never met another person who uses these tires that has liked them on a diesel. I know one guy who buys them and uses them, and he ONLY uses them for sled pulling on his duramax. He is part owner of upstate diesel, he's in the vendor section, ask him what he thinks of them. They're a good tire don't get me wrong, they just wear out incredibly fast.

not to argue but a h2 weight is 8600 pounds from the factory VS i think a super cab f-250 is like 6200 pounds so not a weight thing. guess i have just had really good luck with them no complants but they dont realy wear eaven maby the factory bfg are built better than the ones you can buy from a dealer dont know. But i will tell you i probley will not get a nother set prety pricy.

That is incorrect, think about what you're saying. A hummer H2 doesn't weight 8600lbs, did you just wiki that, cause I did and it says GVWR is 8600, meaning it can only handle 8600lbs total going down the road fully loaded including the weight of the vehicle. The weight of the H2 is closer to 6600lbs, meaning it can only carry 2klbs on board and still be safe/legal to drive down the road.

My extended cab short bed auto 4x4 F250 is listed at 76xx lbs just FYI. This is the shortest wheelbase you can get...

I'm glad to hear you like the tires and they work well for you, again they're a good tire, they just don't last long in my experiences. They're like Nitto terra grapplers, hook up good, but don't last long. We all drive different vehicles and have different habits so tires are going to last different for everyone.

Where are you from Ranger518?

Ah ok, saw your username and thought you might be local to me. 518 is my area code and the rangers are a pretty popular NY hockey team.... haha.

The hummer still isn't light, but don't forget are trucks are severely unbalanced, all of the weight is on the front end, so provided you actually rotate tires accordingly, they would still last longer on a hummer. They're a great tire, just don't last. I actually have a set of 315/70/17's sitting at my house waiting to go on, got them for $300 though so I can't complain.

I ran BFG AT's on my 05 Ford which tipped the scales at 8900lbs and got 40k out of them. Since then I've switched back to Dodge and run the same tire, same size and this truck weighs 9200lbs and get 40-50k.

tire pressure plays a roll too, there are so many different factors to take into account on this
