I would guess teh AFE stage 2 would be since it has a open box and a huge filter.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

If you really don't car about the truck don't run a filter!

That sounds completely ignorant, so here's an ignorant answer....

No filter.

why cant anyone on these sites answer a simple question. I made it short and sweet, so i wouldnt have to explain why i wanted it. I know everyone will say,, its not good for the truck,, i know everyone will say,, you'll never get the hp that it claims. I know all that already. and ofcourse i care about my truck.. i just asked a simple question in hopes someone that has used these things before would help me. No biggie.. i'll just buy all of them and find out that way. I far as this being ignorant,, to hell with you.. i'll go back to the other site.

Do you want to hear the intake or the exhaust? Seems to be easier to remove the cat and muffler.

If its the whistle you are looking for, you want an 03 turbo.

not really looking for the whistle,, i have plenty of that. I"m really just trying to duplicate a truck i've heard before. interested more of maybe a "growl",, than a whistle. maybe the intake is not what i need. I may be going in the wrong direction. thanks.

not to be a dick to ya man but when u come on the site and say i dont care about whats good for the truck u started with the worst thing you can say. thats y ppl are calling u ignorant. as for a good intake i like my afe stage 1 dry flow bc i drive through mud and much and it keeps that stuff from rolling under the hood and onto the filter. filter choice is really dependant on what u want to do with the truck. in my case i needed a closed intake. in your case an afe stage 2 could be perfect
