Default Water/Meth Inj for 6.0

Anyone running water/meth inj on their 6.0s? I haven't heard anything about running it on a 6.0. Just curious on how much if at all it affects head gaskets.

Raising cylinder pressures are no going to help the head gasket potential problem. Using mild tuning and caution Water/Meth can be a big helper for the 6.0Ls.

A lot of guys use it, but more for a mileage helper than a power adder. Most that I have seen using it are using a low concentration of meth, around 20-30% meth. It's a good EGT dropper with that much water. I thought about getting it myself, but it seems more of a novelty to me. I don't have issues with EGT's now when towing (as long as I am using my tow tunes and not my race tunes ) so really no point for me to add it.

If you don't want a tuner, why would you get a Quadzilla? I'm confused...

SCT = the sh*t like you said... why buy an inferior product for probably more money.

I ran a Quad 160 before I switched to the SCT. The low end is much better with the Quad while the high end favors the SCT. Since the SCT will tune the tranny the SCT wins hands down. Now if you want to mix it up get a SCT with a tranny only file, plug in the Quad and see what happens. I did that for awhile as well with good results. I think my Quad harness developed a problem ( I located some bare wires upon removal) and have been only using the SCT for quite some time now.

I've heard of people doing this with the Edge's too, which is OK if you have the SCT tranny tuning, but this was for guys who had already purchased the Edge or whatever before they found out about the SCT's, I wouldn't go out and buy an SCT AND a Quadzilla... that would be a waste of money.

What tune and from who on the SCT were you using that you're comparing to the quad?

Also for inquiring minds, SCT is one of the only programmers who uses rear wheel HP, most of the others use crank, so the numbers might seem better, but they're not, especially once you start getting into custom tunes with the SCT.
