You will want custom tunes next.

Fuel pump and banjo bolts would be the next step in getting set, then injectors and turbo/s.

I'd go Airdog II, get the banjo bolts from ebay ($25).

What are your overall plans for horsepower and how are you going to use the truck? Will you still tow?

im shootin for 600 to the wheels on the hot tune. not alot of hauling but i still want it to be a back up truck for our shop trucks. biggest point would be keeping it streetable. ya these numbers are high but the truck is just at 100k so i have another 200 with her before i consider gettin rid of it

600hp at the wheels and still being able to tow is going to require compounds, no way around it. It's gonna get real hot running that much fuel with a single turbo.

At that power level you will need fairly large injectors, which means you're probably going to have to do turbo/s and injectors all at once. Gonna be hard doing one at a time. If you do just injectors it's gonna get HOT and SMOKY, and if you do just turbo, it probably wont light.

Fuel pump would be the first to go on, since you can benefit from that with a stock truck. Then build the transmission, then do motor mods.

Have you looked into the pro-charger setups? That is what I want to do someday.

well the first step that im gunna take in the next couple weeks is the headstuds i was hoping to be able to push them off but after my egr delete im still getting flutter from the coolant tank so im guessing that i have a head raised a little.

from there a new fuel pump would be next bc like u said stock to extreme it will help me

as for the compounds the truck would rarely tow and so i may be able to squeek by using some water meth injection (25% meth) to bring the temps down a few 100 degrees. also with the turbo(s) i would beef up the intercooler and hoses which could help keep the temps down.

but before any of that im gunna do the head studs then the fuel pump then an intercooler (one that will work with a set up that i think i might want later) then it will be time to dive into the engine and makin the old oval into a blur

Don't forget the transmission on a 600hp build... you will need it. Most live up to 500rwhp or so with easy driving, but wont last long if you're blasting down the strip every weekend or towing 15k lbs all the time... Other than that sounds like you have a good basis.

Your best bet is to just call around to a couple 6.0 places, like Innovative, River City Diesel, Elite, GoGo,... see what they have to say.

No. If you're going HUGE injectors, they hybrids will be fine. Like I've said before, Shawn Ellertons truck is making over 1000rwhp on a stock 05 HPOP, and most 6.0 people say the 05 HPOP is the worst and most unreliable so....

If it was a 7.3, yes big oil is necessary, the 6.0, not so much.
