Well, here is what happened I had the stock tranny when i did all this and of course it didnt last so i took it in to have it built but the guy told me it messed it up to bad and just to get a new stocker with a warranty so thats what i did then i started having front end and 4wd problems (braking axles, U-joints, auto hub actator ect.) then me tranny started acting up again, and 2 exgaust manifold ears broke off the head, which would call for a new head so i sold it before i was into it to much. so i guess the pickup wouldnt hold up to the hp. the older dodges had a terrible front end anyway.

You cant just add up how much HP the box says it will give you. It doesnt work like that. What all was done to it?

Sell the edge and buy a sct with custom tunes, You will get enough soot to have to worry about the cops getting you!!

Well a lot of it was modding what was already there, 375 Marine Injectors, 5K governor Springs, stiffer valve springs, to avoid floating at 4K+, Home ground #100 fuel plate and slid Forward, AFC also slid forward, Ground Rack Pin, Cranked star wheel, Turbo Ring out and wastegate plugged, Fast Fuel pump, sped up the timing, 5 inch turbo back straight pipe, AFE Intake, . . and i think thats it. Like I say, I cant tell you on the HP, that was just to get you an idea, Drag vs. My Buddies 09 Duramax stacked with a blackmax, to get rid of the exaust system, and Edge Juice with attitude was dead even till around 90 and he pulled away. not bad for a 95.

Also. If you read this you'll see that a lot of it had no box to come out of. So. . no Hp ratings to read. Its pretty well a guesstimate from what others have told me that they thought. Thats the good thing, but at the same time the bad thing, about older diesels. ya cant just throw a computer at it and expect to get Hp. But you can get more if you take your time and do it right.

Wow, what a great mechanic. Thats what you get when you take your truck to AAMCO. They just tell ya nope! Most guys who rebuild trannys give you a warranty?

My boss has two 12v. He's advanced the timing...never tried speeding it up. Maybe we'll try that for the race truck this season!

Alright well if you have any questions you might be able to find me on here somewhere, and it was actually just a local guy in my area that does transmissions and he is very good for a performance tranny. One of the best for the money he charges. He said he would do it but he couldnt offer a warranty. so i went with a stocker. and yes, it had a 3 year warranty

You would have been better off goin somewhere else, those old trannys cant hardly hold up to a 50 hp increase from stock.
