Mine blew pretty quickly, but I have a heavy foot. Mine are blown again now with the ARP's in there already too...

Your heads are probably warped...I've never had a repeat failure using ARP studs.

There are many people who have had this issue. There is a 30+page thread about this on PSN. One guy has had it happen 4 times, using new gaskets and even milling the heads. Its a 580rwhp truck. It's a very good read if you have the time. Beans diesel ended up putting a lot of research into this issue and came up with a new method to sealing the heads. It is essentially Ford's method (torque angle, vs. torque reading on a wrench), minus the last step (this is the step that stretches the stock bolts).

I think I'm going to try this method if I ever get mine apart.

Also mine blew VERY shortly after having my ARP's installed, with one new head from Ford too.

HP is probably similar, giving the edge to Innovative. The important part is Innovatives tranny shifting is supposed to be much better.

You can't go wrong using Innovative Diesel's custom tunes. Eric will walk you thru the options so that you get exactly what you are looking for. Remember to have him turn off your EGR valve.
