R&R'd the HFCM today. The old unit had some brown stuff in the water separator, probably algae, but otherwise clean. The fuel pump itself was a goldish color where the new one wasn't. Different mfr? Excessive heat? The new HFCM didn't have the heater and was loaded with a filter.

At idle/cruise, psi was still 60~64, at WFO, it never went below 50 psi, even when the speedo went back to 0 after hitting 100 mph.

Just replaced my pump and performed the Hutch & Harpoon on the tank, what a mees in the tank, that rubber foot turned to jello and clogged up my pump witch burned out due to lack of fuel flowing thru the lines. Nasty, You may want to check,
