Default Elite Stage-1 DIY Injector Kit

Has anyone heard of this/know anything about it? Seems like a cost effective way to bigger injectors.

Hmmm... how does that work? A nozzle wont change the body size of the injector... I'm confused.

This is true, however, wouldn't larger/more nozzles increase the volumetric flow into the combustion chamber? Think about it like changing jets on a Holley, same OD to fit in the hole, but a different ID to change the flow characteristics.

Or do I need to put my linebacker helmet back on and sit in the back of the classroom again?

Same concept as a nozzle for a water hose I'm guessing. Like you said karls03 changing the id changes how the fuel flows.

IIRC, a hot FICM tune will just about empty out the stock injectors. For the cost and hassle of changing out stock nozzles to a larger nozzle, a hot FICM tune would do the same at half the cost.

Elite doesn't have the best customer service. Seems as all those Diesel Power articles have gone to their head. Good luck.

An injector body is a set size, despite what the nozzle will flow, a 135cc volume body injector doesn't go to 155cc's just by changing the nozzle...

I'm not saying it wont "flow" more, but the injector size hasn't changed. There are a lot of other factors to consider with the flow too, RPM's, pulse width, ICP
