Default KEM 6.0 tunes

Anyone know anything about KEM tunes for our SCT equipped trucks? They seem to have a name for themselves in 6.4/6.7 circles, but that doesn't help me out owing a 6.0.

KEM has a great name in the 6.4 tuning world. He does his tuning with H&S stuff though. Can he do SCT stuff too? I'm not sure!?

Their website said they had a 3 custom tune option for a 6.0 SCT. Then again, the 'contact us' didn't work very well. Guess I'll have to call them and get more details.

Yeah I don't really know anyone using his tunes on 6.0's, I think he's probably quite busy with 6.4's. Let us know if you find anything else out.

I run KEM SCT tunes on my 6.0L every day. I have the street, tow and race tune. I cant say i see a huge difference in them from stock but their is a difference. Also I specifically said I want zero black smoke and had them write the tunes specifically for me. I dont think I am going to go with them the second time around since i just got injectors and am going to retune the truck for the new injectors.

If you have ZERO smoke under all throttle conditions, this is why you're not seeing a difference, just not enough fuel to get that thing moving. Probably added a little timing and a little fuel, but my guess is he made the tunes to how you asked, which is not exactly what I would consider a "race" tune.

You got new injectors, and need re-tuning? This tells me you went with a larger injector right? Why would you go with a larger injector if you don't want any black smoke. It sounds like you weren't even using the full potential of the stock injectors, why spend all that money to upgrade them???

Well lets see. I got the tunes written and could tell some difference but why drive a truck if at full throttle you blow a bunch of black smoke? I got exactly what i wanted. A truck with good power and no smoke. I pulled a few full pulls in this setup and was very happy. Now with the new injectors im running hotter tunes and gonna have some fun with it but still have a street tune that shouldn't smoke unless run hard. Cant say for sure yet since I havent driven the truck yet but should know tomorrow.
