don't know what you're talking about officer, these headlights are factory equipped

 

Well the conversion kit is made for HIDs and h4 bulbs

 

ya the housings are specifically for HIDs i have never gotten a ticket for housings just for off color with 8k blue.

 

You got a ticket for having 8k or just been pulled over

 

HID's w/o the projector lense are "supposed" to be illegal. That's retarded they cracked ya for the off color bulb. I actually think the different "temp" lights are dim and HID's are bright head on but behind the wheel they're about as good as the sylvanias I have in the truck now.

High Intensity Discharge Kits, H.I.D. Light Conversion Kit, HID Lights, Replacement Halogen Bulbs, Xenon, Plasma they have hid conversion kits and the sealed beam to H4 conversion reasonable prices I think too.

i was pulled over in a partially abannoned physciatric hospital at 3am and they did a vehicle visual inspection and got me for tires having low tread and he said i was endangering passing vehicles with off color bulbs, i went to the local precent and the officer dismissed the ticket for the light saying that the pilgrim state police are just a joke but couldnt do tire because they are so badly/obviously worn. they made me get a tow truck to take it home. they also tried me for having no CAT convertor then i got mad and showed him the sitcker on the radiator support saying NON-CATALYST and he didnt like that very much...

 

Wow, what a joke that you had to have your truck towed home because of bald tires. With the price of tires these days, I just drive them until they pop.

Try putting in some 4300 bulbs. It won't stand out so much and they'll actually be quite a bit brighter.

 

i know this is a pretty late post,but i got some halos/projectors for mine off of amazon for around $45 for the pair.
