As much as I wished there was some progress. There hasn't been. I am deployed until July so right now I am just collecting parts.
I bought a P-Pump and everything needed to put it on. I ordered some LBDP injectors and I found a BW 64/68/14 turbo that I picked up. Head studs, gaskets, tappets, and pump mods. Right now the last thing on my list is a Hamilton Cam then I should have all the parts needed to convert it and do the build.

Since the engine is a factory inter cooled I only need the 7mm injectors. 2nd gen ones will work fine. That is what I ordered.

I am starting to agree with that statement. Although when I bought the engine I hadn't done my planning yet. I just knew I wanted to put a Cummins in the truck. Also had I been there when I bought the engine instead of being deployed, I wouldn't have bought it since it has the CAV pump on it. So long story short, I have the engine and for me to sell it I may not get my money back so I might as well invest into it to have what I want. So that is what I am doing.

Now on my next swap which is being planned now, I am leaning towards a 24v P-Pump or just a P-pumped 12v.

im happy with what i have, ve with a fuel pin and the fuel turned up. stock turbo and everything. my truck moves. im looking at getting a ppump/nv4500 combo out of a smashed up truck or something along those lines. the problem is selling my motor and getting that motor, i dont have that kind of liquid cash in my pockets

Oh I know the feeling. I have known a few people that buy the whole truck and get what they need and sell the rest. If you can float the money for a month or two you can quite possibly make your money back. I knew one guy bought a truck on his credit card and took the engine and trans and sold the rest a week later for more than he got it for. Money never left his bank haha.
