Is a 16cm exhaust housing worth the upgrade from 21cm?
Then it doesn't really matter, since you only spool it once. The 16 will run a little better drive pressure ratio and cool better on top. 60mm refers to the size of the turbo impeller wheel for the H1C upgrade. It's a worthwhile upgrade if your power goals are modest. But it won't effectively support any more than around 250hp. That's why I said go for the S300 if you are springing for a new turbo. Many people have lamented pouring money into H1C upgrades and expensive exhaust housings (14cm), only to find they support little more than stock fuel for anything other than a play truck.
Like I mentioned I don't want to increase fuel but I wouldn't mind having more turbo starting lower. I guess I still need to think about which housing I would like. I fear that a 12cm may spin my old 154K turbo too quickly and wear it out fast.
I been running a 12cm non-wastegated 60mm hybrid turbo (upgraded H1C) on my 91 for three years and loving it. Saw32psi boost with the pump all in. Turned the fuel screw out a couple turns just to keep it in reserve for testing purposes. No worries w/stock I/C injectors.

If it has the throttle response of my other truck with a HX35 12cm housing, I'll be really happy. The truck with the H1C smokes a lot and low rpm throttle response is poor.
