Default How much power out of a tweaked pump?

OK guys, I pulled my 1850 Oliver tractor that has the 93 Dodge Cummins in it. Did pretty good actually.

The guy I bought this motor from was there, and broke it to me that this motor is NOT a stock 160hp. LOL! So, this is what's been done:

I advanced the timing 1 whole tooth (from "E" notch to "C" notch)
Turned the diaphragm/fuel pin to the deepest part of the notch.
Stock injectors

Then, guy tells me that he quote: "Cranked the pi$$ out of the fuel screw".... Probably figuring he maxed the pump

Still running the stock diaphragm lift pump

Got a 18.5cm exhaust housing, and a 54mm compressor H1C turbo. But, exhaust housing isn't such a big deal as it's a tractor so lag isn't such a big deal.

What you guys think she's turnin' for HP?

Get an aftermarket fuel system, fuel pin and a better turbo and you should be looking in the mid 300's with a moderate set of injectors

Yeh you can spend $1,000 and have a good 275-325, really to the point your clutch will start having problems holding.

A good fuel pin $100.00(Denny T) and a lift pump that will hold 10spi on a good hard pull( knock off holley black $55.00) and $250.00 to up grade the turbo with a 60mm wheel and housing (GDS), and if your EGT's go crazy you mite want a water to air cooler.

you should get 35-40 psi of boost out of that and your head gasket (should) be ok.

I think this will wake the old girl up, then your talkin 5-6 hundred for some injectors.

I'm about 38psi with the dynamic timing spacer and haven't popped the head gasket, my studs are coming in tomorrow. 38 psi with too much timing scares me. Then again rswords was running a silver 62 pushin 60 psi and a tooth or two of advance and his head gasket held up

I know a guy that took a (B O N E ) stock 93 5 spd put 1 1/2 turns on the fuel screw in the parking lot and dynoed at 235hp.

every truck is different so it's hard to say.

Where do you recommend buying the recommended mods you listed?
