HELP!
Never heard of that and you cant pull out the pin w/o taking the pmp apart. I have cycled mine ALOT of time trying to free it up with NO pin in it and it has never fallen out. I even used a set of needle nose pliers to pull it out al lteh way because it was sticking trying to work it free an it hits a stop. Logan you are the only person tha has ever said anything about that... You have any more info?

Oh and as far as what would happen if for some crazy reason the rack pin fell into th housing... You would loose AFC control... Be like having a ground foot... Turn off the truck and fix it. It's not like the truck would run away... just smoke.... ALOT

HELP!
Did you turn the full power screw the correct direction? Usually idle speed comes up as you adjust the full power screw; not down. Any chance someone could have already had the pin rotated and you set it back to "stock" try rotating it another 90* to go from the shallowest to the deepest a full 180* is needed. Better yet, pull the pin. (twist and pull) mark the point of the deepest cone on top of the diaphragm. Make sure the mark is facing the firewall upon re-installation. DO NOT cycle the throttle with the pin removed. It can over extend the pin and possibly damage the o ring that seals the pin from pump supply pressure. It only takes a screw driver to wiggle it back in place if it does push out. Sorry to hear you're having issues with your truck, usually the pin rotation and 1/2 turn or so on the full power screw wakes these trucks up like a junkie that just got a hit of adrenaline.
