Default HX55

Does anybody have any experience runnning an HX55 on a VE pumped Cummins? I know people have put a 64mm's on their's so I thought a 65mm would respond well too?

As a single or in a compound set up? Pretty big for a single.

Thats a huge setup for the VE to spool as a single.... Like I really doubt you could even get it to light well.

What about with a set of 6x16's or larger injectors? Would it work well in a compound setup?

You wont turn the RPM's to keep that turbo happy on anything other then a completly track oriented truck. and even then your gonna need alot of work to fuel hard enough at a high enough RPM to make power. It's one thing to turn 4k in a VE... Its another thing to turn 4k and still have full fuel flow in a VE. That HX55 is gonna have a huge T4 housing on it. The 64mm turbos you are thinking of are aftermarket with small exhaust housings.
