Here are the specs on an hx40 that I'm looking at let me know what you think

i have heard alot of bad things about knock off holset turbos. 300 is really cheap even for a used holset hx40. plus i dont think there is anyway a 40 would handle 600hp. someone else with a little more info about it will chime in.

hx 40 should have a 4in down pipe and exhaust housing sounds like a knock off butt thats just my 2 cents

Thats a Chinese one. For one it doesn't have the Holset tag on it and two, you can't get a ex housing smaller than 16 cm for those.

Thanks for the input guys I think I will just rebuild my stock and change out the exhaust housing it has a small oil leak.

if anyone wants an hx35 i have one thats got a smaller exh and a banks big head waste gate it just needs a compressor wheel and a rebuild kit great turbo just not enough for my truck so i bought a hi- tech
