I want to get a better Turbo what is the best bolt on no mods Turbo for our gen 1's

i'm under standing that your truck is stock right? then an hx35 is pretty good

yea very true, the hy's only have a 9cm exhaust housing i think

 

I am getting a denny t pin and a 3200 spring and straight pipe and tweak the pump

 

it still wouldnt be a bad turbo, the compressor side is gonna be the same on your stock turbo and the HX35, they're both 56mm inducers. You could buy a compressor upgrade for the hx35 if you wanted to, but either way it will spool up faster than the h1c.

the best upgrade thats a direct replacement would be a fresh turbo with 60mm compressor wheel upgrade and 12cm exhaust housing.
