Default Air Intake 90 cummins

i have a 90 cummins and wanting to put a different air filter on it, stock on it now. wondering what would be the best to get and where to get it. also the cheapest. thanks

u can go to a parts store and get a box and a filter for around 80 dollars or a little more im pondering on the same thing with the 91 dodge wonderin if it would help

i guess i don't understand it right,? i thought diesel burnt better on hot air? can you explain what cold air does better? thanks

colder air is denser... meaning you get more oxygen into the same amount of space. more oxygen, the better the combustion.

Ive got a spare afe filter. how do you like it? ill probably just keep running the amsoil 4090, but i was curious.

Cleaning is so-so because I have to take the tube off at the turbo to get the filter out but other than that I haven't had any issues. Clean it like I used to do k&n filters and no issues except for the loooooong drying time after washing.
