not to be a jerk or anything but why do posts keep getting brought up that are well over a year old?

Sometimes the person that brought it up was searching, came across an old post and either had something to add or forgot it was an old post and replyed, I've done both.

Its always better to bring up an old informative post relating to your question and ask a question about your problem in it then to start a new thread.
