theyres a bunch of good turbos out there. all depends on how much cash you wanna drop
|
i was thinking a good bit of money on them and go twins
|
i dont knoq if your really aware of how much twins really cost. figure at least 4 grand for piping and turbos. then you need gauges, head studs, orings, new headgaskets, etc etc it ends up getting quite expensive quite fast. and if your looking for that much power you might just want to get a p pump truck. and in 90% of situations twins arent needed
|
well there yeah go changed my mind real fast haha yeah i did kno it was that much like i said im new to all this performance stuff. il go with one!!! im gessen il have well over a 1,000 set aside for my turbo tho and what is needed with it
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- and na dont want another truck i love mine and i dont really want that much power or will need it! ima stop around 325-350h and around 800tq... |

hes right stock is the way to go unless your really good then you can make some bad ass power and no smoke with awesome mileage. unless you really work with the mods on these trucks and build it for towing they suck at towing |
well looks like im it it for the long hall...il do what it takes one step at a time just need some help with what direction to start! maybe a parts list would really help so i can see what figure im looken at price wise then i can make it happen ima have this truck for the rest of my life so its time to make it "My truck" thanks for the help guys ima need alot more tho haha... parts list would really help out:s:

well first
GAUGES then all the fun stuff!! what do you want to do? just be fast? drag? tow? sled pull? |
haha yeah i got some today but i still need a cuple more i got turbo bust and tran.temp.
i would say tow |
so then your going to want to build lots of torque and not to much HP
get a deep trany and diff pan clutch overfill getrag (if your a 5 speed) have pump turned up internally dont mess with ANY stock external settings FP screw, Afc, Ect... get a 4in intake and if your non I/C get one stock ones work great 60mm turbo upgrade 4in turbo back exhaust 4.10 gears w/posi in the diff or 3.75 if your 4x4 twin electric fans on adj. thermostats BHAF thats a good start |
alright thanks i am intercooled and 5 speed:tu:
