Default 5x14s on a stock 21cm turbo??

Okay, I am getting impatient waiting for my Source exhaust... I have a set of 5x.014 injectors I want to install, once I get the exhaust I will be installing a 62/65/13 turbo (I have it sitting here waiting).

I have a 92 with the 21cm turbo, a getrag and BHAF (everything else is stock). Right now the highest temps I "normally" see are 800-850 when shifting into 4th (40-45 mph), I can push it to 1000 or so if I try...

This is my DD and is not going to be used for towing any time soon

So do you guys think I can get away with the 5x14s on a stock turbo for the next week or so?

How hot is "very hot"?

I would think that the injectors + pin + maxed pump you have would be easily burying the needle in seconds

How much smoke does it blow?

buryin the needle only comes with flooring the gas pedal. keep your foot out of it and youll be just fine. im sure you can go a week or two without hot rodding it. and even if you do get in it just watch your pyro, and as soon as it gets hot let your foot off. its as easy as that

Go for it. Your truck can hold 1500* spurts (couple seconds) with no problem. Just dont go over 1250* for more then 5 seconds or so.

Lol. I struggle with that one too. The "skinny pedal" seems to work the best.

Accelerator pedal would be the proper way.

The skinny pedal, git-up-n-go pedal, **** and git pedal, is all the fun ones.
